Not to be outdone by the Michigan people, we Bears have our own bar in the nation's capital. And tonight, when the Golden Bears take on the Michigan State whatever-they-are, we can be rest assured that even 3000 miles away from Memorial Stadium, we will cheer on the boys amongst family. So I wanted to invite you Bear fans who are 21 - whether based on your actual birthday or on any form of identification that might place your age above 21 (Misha) - to come out to the Sign of Whale on M street, between 18th and 19th streets. And I hear they have a usual ex-rally commer who leads the cheers!
Everyone who wants to go, please meet in the lobby at 7 pm to go over together. If you want to come by yourself - or to make a fashionably late appearance - you should get there before 7:30.
So the break-down:
What: Cal-Michigan St Football Game (1st game of the season)
Where: Sign of the Whale, 1825 M St NW (at 18th St.)
When: 7 pm in the lobby of "the Center"
