Cal @ Maryland

This September 13th the Golden Bears will be looking to keep their winning season rolling at University of Maryland (Roll On You BEARS). Angelo, Misha, and I are thinking about going to support Riley and the sloth (GO BEARS) in College Park. But it would be cool to get more people together for the trip. I know some people might be thinking about going to Maryland for a weekend trip, anyway. So even if you're not big into football, this would be the perfect opportunity to go to the Old Line State with fellow UCDCers.

We might even plan a few extraneous events down in MD aside from just watching the game. So reply to this if you want to go so we can coordinate transportation, events, and other aspects of the trip. Suggestions are greatly appreciated. We can go with the UC alumni, or go as our own separate group.

locals as well as for alums coming into town for the game. More details

Friday, Sept 12th

- RALLY AT UCDC 7p -10p
- open bar, with donated appetizers
- families and children are welcome (kids activities, etc)
- silent auction (proceeds going back to Cal scholarships)

- BAR CRAWL 10p - ?
- starting at Sign of the Whale, and moving to other bars
- wristband access - entitles you to drink deals

Saturday, September 13th

- CAA TAILGATE 9:30a - noon
- This is the big pre-game tailgate. Details available on the CAA

- in the parking lot near the stadium
- Open right after the game till around 5:30p

- SPECIAL ADDITION - DC CAL SUPPER CLUB - 6-9p
- several reservations at good local restaurants
- a chance for local alumni to meet out of town alumni
